- Contact form submissions. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), and the contents of your message.
- Booking and reservation information. When you book a cabin, RV site, boat rental, or charter, you provide details such as your name, contact information, stay dates, party size, and payment information. Bookings are processed through our third-party reservation provider, OwnerRez (see “Third-Party Services” below).
- Other communications. Information you provide when you email, call, or otherwise correspond with us.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data. When you visit the Site, we and our analytics providers may automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and similar technical information.
- Cookies and tracking technologies. We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising. As of the date above, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel is the only advertising or analytics tag running on the Site. It sets cookies in your browser (including
_fbp and _fbc) and reports the pages you view here to Meta — see “Advertising and Tracking” below. Our content management system can also enable Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads tags; if we turn any of them on, we will update this policy. - Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Island View Resort, our guests, or others.

Advertising and Tracking
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, and this Site uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to support that. The pixel sets cookies and reports your activity on this Site — such as the pages you view — to Meta. That lets us measure which ads lead to reservations, and show ads to people who have visited us or who resemble our past guests. This is what privacy laws call cross-context behavioral advertising, and under California law it counts as “sharing” your personal information.
How to opt out. Advertising cookies are on by default. You can switch them off by blocking third-party cookies or using a tracking blocker in your browser, by adjusting your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings, or by emailing us at info@ivr906.com and asking us to opt you out of advertising sharing. We will honor that request. Opting out leaves the Site fully functional; only the advertising measurement stops.
