Island View Resort is located on Cedarville Bay in the heart of the beautiful Les Cheneaux Islands. We are located just 1 mile east of Cedarville off M-134. We have 400 feet of Southern exposure to the bay, presenting beautiful mid-day sunshine and sunsets.
In 2016, Jeff Lipple and his wife Christine purchased the resort and now have it open for business year round. Jeff has been spending his summers in Cedarville his whole life. He and his family stayed as guests at Island View Resort throughout the 70s before his parents bought their cabin across the bay on LaSalle Island.
As owners and managers we are always striving, improving and upgrading our facilities, while keeping the rates reasonable.
Over 8 acres of Michigan paradise
Our resort covers better than 8 acres on flat ground, partly wooded with a small stream running through part of it, providing you with ample room to stretch your legs and enjoy imagination. A large portion of the property remains undeveloped which makes for a great pet walk.
Each cottage has a charcoal grill, picnic table, lounging chairs and a lovely wood deck for those wonderful summer cocktails while enjoying the beautiful sunrise and sunsets of Cedarville Bay. Waterfront cottages 1, 4, 6 & 8 have a fire pit at their cottage. There is also a large fire pit for all to use in the front lawn area. All fire wood is provided by us.
World-class fishing and boating
Fishing is one of the favorite water sports of the Les Cheneaux Islands. Boating is a marvelous treat surrounded by 36 beautiful islands providing sheltered bays, coves and channels. We rent boats to our guests only.
We are centrally located between Mackinac Island, Sault Sainte Marie and Drummond Island — making day trips easy and unforgettable.
